COMPANY INTRODUCTION:
| This soundbook called ‘Madame Coucou’ is made by ‘Ubare’ a Korean singer-songwriter working across France and Korea who participated and performed a duet performance with MIKA in the French TV audition “The Voice France 2018”. Since 2010 she has performed at many different live gigs festivals TV shows radio shows and solo concerts. She also became a music director for the movie ‘Santa Barbara.’ The soundbook ‘Madame Coucou’ is known as the world’s first soundbook made of organic French children’s songs sung and produced by a professional singer-songwriter. ‘Madame Coucou’ is a soundbook that allows children and babies to fully listen to five songs by pressing the built-in button on each page through a built-in speaker. All the French children’s songs including traditional folk songs and self-composed songs were written and re-arranged by Ubare with acoustic instruments. For the artworks and illustrated music videos of ‘Madame Coucou’ on her YouTube channel Ubare collaborated with ‘Joan Pencil ‘ an illustrator who belongs to a famous design & sound collective based in Seoul. Ubare decided to make this soundbook when she found her two daughters enjoying children’s music with commercial and electronic sounds. She wanted to show her daughters and other kids the ‘real’ music and great lyrics with beautiful illustrations not through electronic devices but books. She wanted to make a book not only for kids but a book that kids and parents can enjoy together. Since the release of her first soundbook ‘Madame Coucou ‘ she has been performing the songs live in front of many kids and parents at book talks French schools and a lot of different concerts in Korea. The ‘Madame Coucou’ book concert tickets were also sold out. Now she would like to meet more kids around the world to show them what’s real music with Madame Coucou. |
